I borrowed the pink shoe from Little Miss Glamour Goes To Kindergarten's blog. I never teach in tennis shoes and these shoes are to DIE FOR!

6:00: Alarm goes off and I am up and starting my day. I let the dog out, let the cat out, and get my 3 kiddos up too. I am truley blessed because my kids give me no trouble getting up. Once I have everyone up and in the living room I tag team my husband and he does breakfast.
6:30: I am finished getting ready and I go and help the kids get ready. We lay everything out the night before and they wear uniforms so we don't have many issues in the morning. I fix the girls hair and make sure everyone looks presentable.
6:45:I am out the door and on my way to school. My DH takes the kids in the morning since they do not go to the school I teach at.
7:05-7:40:I arrive at school and do my usual morning routine. I grab a cup of coffee and sit and go thru my reader. I run off any copies I need for the day and go and get the Clickers from the office.
7:40-7:52: My 6th grade start coming into the room. They order their lunch(via the Smartboard) and pack up for their morning classes.
7:52-8:00:Morning Announcements and prayer via the intercom.
8:00-8:45: 7th Grade Literature: Today we finished the book My Brother Sam Is Dead. I do this book in Lit class while the SS teacher studies the Revolutionary War. The students really enjoyed this book. They could not wait to read today to see how it ended. We read together today. I love to see the looks on their faces when we finish a book!!
8:45-9:30:6th Grade Literature: Today we finished up The Lightning Thief. We discussed how the characters have changed during the course of the book.
9:30-10:15:6th Grade Religion. We are working learning the Liturgical Seasons. The students are creating online posters in Notaland. I don't think I will use this program again. I have had 6 students that go in to work on their project and it is GONE!!! The website does not have a number to call and emails are not answered. Frustrating to say the least.
10:15-11:00: 6th Grade Religion Class #2. We are working on the same things as the first class. I try to keep them together for my own sanity. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
11:00-11:45:7th Grade Literature Class #2.
11:45-12:25: Lunch Time!! I take the kids to the cafeteria and then it is my time. I almost always spend this time with the 6th Grade Science Teacher. We are kindred spirits. She is my sounding board for all of my tech lessons. I don't know what I would do without her.
12:25-12:50:Homeroom. During this time the kids go to the restroom, get drinks, and get ready for the afternoon classes. They are supposed to be working silently. I usually have Channel One playing for them.
12:50-1:30:7th Grade Lit #2.
1:30-2:15:Finally, my plan time. Today I happen to have my monthly meeting with my principal. This is just a time where I share with him what is going on in my room and he can talk to me about anything he needs. Usually pretty short. The remaining time, I am planning Clicker questions, running copies, grading papers etc...
2:15-2:50:Computer Lab. I take a group of 6th graders to our lab. Today they are working on various projects. This time is for them to work on projects or I may introduce a new website to them, or brush them up on their basic computer skills.
2:50-3:08: Pack and Stack Time!! The kids fill out assignment notebooks, I sign the ones I need to sign, they stack their chairs, clean up the room, and out we go. It is a fast, crazy time!
3:08-4:15is:I spend this time, trying to find my desk back.I usually don't find it. I just shift my junk. I also collaborate with my Science Teacher friend.
5:00:By this time I am back home with my three kiddos. We are doing homework, cooking supper, taking showers, doing laundry, feeding the animals, reading books, you get the idea!
That is a snippet of my
